Celebrate 30 Years of King Traditional with a Community Mural

For 30 years, King Traditional School has been a place where students learn, grow, and develop a strong sense of pride and belonging. To mark this milestone, the school is creating a lasting tribute that reflects its values, history, and community spirit in the form of a mural in the gymnasium.

A Local Artist, A Lasting Legacy

The mural will be created by local artist Dean Lauze, whose work many in the community will recognize from recent murals across Abbotsford, including the Mouat Secondary project completed last summer.

Working closely with the school, the mural will celebrate student identity, school pride, and the shared values that have shaped King Traditional over the past three decades.

How You Can Help

Thanks to the incredible support of our school community, $20,000 has already been raised toward this project.

We are now inviting families, alumni, and community members to help us reach the final $10,000 needed to bring this mural to life.

Every contribution, large or small, helps create a permanent piece of artwork that students will see, reflect on, and take pride in every day.
